I am seriously contemplating about getting a 03' Blaster...i was going to get a used one for CHEAP but then i drove it and its brakes suck then i road a 03 and loved it...a little sluggish though....but anyways...i was wondering has anyone used or put any of the trinity racing big bore kits on the blaster....i am thinking about getting the 265cc kit and buying a new carb and a Toomey Pipe kit with the filter etc.... and probably the first things i'll buy is the toomey pipe and new tires (20's).....

BUT has anyone ever used the 265cc big bore kit....dyno sheats show the 240 increases horsepower to 31 at the wheels...which would be amazing on the blasterso i'm guessing the 265 would be around 40-45 ish....

vito's stock cylindered blaster with his 240 kit did 39 horsepower. He has a new custom 240 jug with triple exhausts that should make even more horsepower.

 

why not buy a banshee and save some some $$$$ ???

 

First of all i don't want a Shee cuz i'm a beginner and i'm 15...shee's are to fast....i want to live till i'm atleast 20..lol...second becuase my mom won't let me buy anything unless its new. And a new Banshee is over 5000 new....the blaster is 3200....and with the 265 big bore kit that takes it to 4000...which to me is about perfect then later on i'm getting new suspension.....to it will be at right about 5000-5200 ish...somewhere around there.....

ALSO.....I THINK BANSHEE'S ARE UGLY AND YOU'D HAVE TO BE 5 TO BE ABLE TO FIT ON THE SEAT....jmo


oh and i've heard those vito's big bore kits were really nice....how much are they?...and what is vito's site?

they have different options tho if you want to go cheaper or use more stock stuff just look at there blaster section

Well that is a good package then. 41 with an aftermarket cylinder is good nonetheless. But if vito is getting 39 with stock cylinders, im sure his new triple exhaust port cylinders would better trinity's 41 by a few horses at least. IMO of course.

 

i talked to vitos and they told me ,it is 595 for there cylinder it sounds nice and it is bolt-on. the only thing to remember is a blaster is still a blaster, and you put all that money in and it won't resell for what you have in it. a banshee will always hold a lot of it resell value.
