I have an 01 DS and an 02 Banshee and I must get rid of one of them.(baby on the way). I can't decide wich one to let go.

On one hand I love the powerband on the Banshee, but then again, that 4 stroke torque is a blast on the trails.

I got a good deal on both wheelers and I guess I will have to let one of them go for what I paid. (both about the same)

any suggestions, opinions, ect?

 

What type of riding will you be doing the most of? trails or sand....basically if your going to be going fast go with the shee... if your just putting around trails I guess the ds would be more comfortable for you.

Yeah, then you can have parts break and be much slower then the competition.

Personally I would keep the banshee, but it really depends on what type of riding you will be doing most of and which fits your style the best.

Hey bud...how have you been doing? It's been awhile since I noticed your posting....good too see you back. Personally, I would get the Banshee....easy too work on 2-stroke and you know the power delivery. I personally think Banshee makes an awesome sport trail rider (4X4 stuff is out for a sport atv) correctly set up. Thumper power delivery is much different....and I hear the top end power of the DS is at least that of the Raptor.....thumper power is sometimes better and sometimes worse....and you don't have too worry about premix. I say weight your options and make the best decision for you....but keep the Banshee..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. Congrats on the new addition too the family soon.

 

banshee, i sold my ds to buy a banshee. how about loading/unloading them ??? if its just you the banshee no prob, the ds would break a sailors back.

 

It may come down to which one I can sell the fastest. I really hate to see either one go, but I don't have much choice.

Does 4100 for the 01 DS and 4400 for the 02 banshee sound pretty reasonable? That is what I gave for them and will let them go for that in the interest of quick turn around.

I know NADA is a bit inflated right now, but I have done some browsing and the prices above seem allot more reasonable than what I have found elsewhere.

Also, to those that have sold quads with accessories before, would I be better off selling the accessories (AC propeg nerfs, K&N's ect) separate or should I leave them on the bike?
