Default Warrior Head......valve removal

Does anyone know an easy way to get the valve keepers off the valves so I can put in stem seals tonight? I mean without going to the shop that is. just cant seem to compress the spring enough without the valve moving.
thanks

You can get them off by bumping the retainer down, with a hammer and a socket if the rockers aren't in the way. If they are just try to bump the retainer down with something. Like I said bump, you don't want to bend anything. Now getting them back on would be a different story.

I agree, that's the way you do it. But you'll still need a compressor to put it back together.
