Wd40 is fine to use,and it shouldent dryit out that's why you spray it after every wash...adding a little grease should fix the problem but you need to do it after every wash and ride...or you will get a big clump of grease and dirt and sand,,JMO

My 2 cents. I hope you aren't using dishwashing detergent (liquid) as soap. That will get rid of the grease that is supposed to be there. Try greasing you zerk fittings. I use car washing soap and it works great.

no i actually spray some stufff called greased lightning and it works great,but my bike is never that dirty just dusty...
