Default new head gasket leaking oil

I just finished boring and adding a Wiesco to my Warrior and I noticed my new Cometic head gasket is leaking oil. Its leaking in the front on the side where the timing chain runs. The only thing i can figure is that i scratched the gasket getting the head back in the frame since you have to angle it to get it in. The surface was oil free and the old gasket wasnt leaking. I tourqed everyting to spec and re-tourqued after it heated and cooled a few times. I thought about lifting the head back up and trying to seal that area somehow but I guess if im going to go through that trouble then i shold just get an OEM gasket and replace it again. The gasket kit did not come with the O-rings to go around the dowels int he cylinder or the head so i guess it was ok to re use them? Anyone else had trouble getting this area or Cometic gaskets to seal?
