warrior battery problem
I just sold my 2000 warrior yesterday and i had put a brand new battery in it just a few months before i sold it. The guy called me and said it died while he was riding it and had to role start it. Now my thoughts are that the stator went bad. I just want to know other peoples opinions, because im probably going to pay for the new rickystator warrior stator ($160.00) because i sold it to the guy under the impression it was in 100% working order. is there anything else that could be wrong?

It seems to me if he could roll start it then the stator is good since the stator is providing the juice to power the engine. Sometimes batteries just go bad. Have the guy roll start it or jump start it or whatever to get it running then disconnect the battery. If it runs then the stator is good - you should have him turn on the lights too just to be sure about the stator.

He broke the connector to the battery or one is very very loose, ive broken both of mine and had them come loose, the lights got dim because he didnt have connection to the battery, it wouldnt start because again it's like unhooking the battery, it will run just no electric start or bright lights.
Tell him to look at the connectors to the battery if they are not broken tell him to see if they are loose it will be very noticable..........

I found the problem, when i put the new battery in it a few months ago i actually put in a smaller battery by mistake, so by doing this the battery was actually strained for power and couldnt keep up and blew the fuse in the process. Got a new battery from the local shop and put a new fuse in it and it runs like a champ.
