Keep in mind, the only reason you are doing this is to let the machine parts ceet in with each other! I just bored my bike and put a 12:1 piston in it, the guy that done the work said heat up and cool down cycle twice ( this is too help the expansion and contraction) retorque the head, change the oil and ride like HELL you'll be fine

Ward, it is the Formula Single circuit or the Supermono circuit in Europe. the Yamaha SZR660 and MZ Skorpion are nearly the same motor as the Raptor and are raced in 660, 686, and 727 configurations. Lots of them here at Willow Springs Raceway including XR and XL 600 motors in various road bike frames. I am always babling about how the atv industry is behind these guys when it comes to making reliable HP.

I knew it was something I had just never heard of before. Thanks Blue! Your right about how far behind we are. Maybe we are slowly catching up.

Warrior86, get the skid plates. Swing arm first.
Ward, are you up and running yet. I've just about got mine set up the way I want it. Too bad I won't get to ride it this summer. Seems Sadam is in need of some *** kickin and I'm just the one to do it.

thanks, is it worth it to get new swingarm and body skids? i guess so.
a more important question is, do i fill the oil filter up with oil a little before i put it on? thats what i do with my truck, but that filter goes on straight up not sideways, so i dunno?
