Actualy thats one part I do not have to replace. LOL I looked it up on the microfiche.
Yes, the loans have been taken out, the parts are all ordered and will possibly be in next week sometime then shipoped to me. Craycraft has my Head and Cylinder and are porting, boring and checking piston to cylinder clearances etc and will ship that to me when its done. Once all my bottom end parts are in I can have someone swap the bearings from the old to the new cases and install the crank to the new cases and then I can rebuild the bottom end. Hopefuly by the time the bottom is back together I'll recieve the top from Craycraft and then I can complete the job. My guess is somtime in May this will be finished, maybe sooner. No, I'm not the Hulk. I wish though.
It's my own fault again. I should have replaced the copper washers to start with. Then, I should have known better than to tighten past the specs.
I may try some JB or something to get by with until I can get another cover.
But hey, this is how you learn your bike. Same way that I learned mustangs. ---- By making mistakes----
Bad thing is, I did get to drive it around the yard just a little and I think that I am going to love that piston! I was having slow starting before, and now the damn thing fires right up with the new piston.

I have a torque wrench and a manual. I torqued it to 14ft lbs. But it leaked and I tried a little more.

Oh well.
One more question. When I tore the motor back apart after having the head gasket leak, I noticed that the cam bearings were a little scored. I put plenty of assembly lube on them and the motor only run for probably less than a minute. I didn't notice if they were like that before I installed the cam. I think not, b/c I would have noticed it. I polished them out a little. Is that normal wear?

Solution
New Line
New Line Top
I grabbed an old nitrous line and some fittings. Tapped the hole for the pipe to an fitting, covered it in JB weld and screwed it in. Did the same for the top without the JB weld.

How big is the inside of the nitrous line? = + - from the stock line? My concern would be oil pressure inside the motor. Also all that yamabond ooozing out the side of the cover is also ooozing inside the motor just waiting to plug up the oil lines and or strainer.
I had a bout 1/5 of my oil strainer clogged due to yamabond from my turns at the valve cover, from the factory install before purchase and Albas rebuild of my transmission. I'm also being told my piston to cylinder wall clearance was only .005 and should have been .030. These factors were a contributing factor to my Rod failure. Just a FYI.
