Well, I messed up good this time. I stripped the banjo bolt on the bottom of the oil line from the head to the crank case. It was leaking so I tried to tighten it some more.

It looks like I will have to replace that whole cover. How much will that cover cost?

You might be able to helicoil it.

 

I doubt it. It cracked the case. Probably never seal.

Actualy thats one part I do not have to replace. LOL I looked it up on the microfiche.

Yes, the loans have been taken out, the parts are all ordered and will possibly be in next week sometime then shipoped to me. Craycraft has my Head and Cylinder and are porting, boring and checking piston to cylinder clearances etc and will ship that to me when its done. Once all my bottom end parts are in I can have someone swap the bearings from the old to the new cases and install the crank to the new cases and then I can rebuild the bottom end. Hopefuly by the time the bottom is back together I'll recieve the top from Craycraft and then I can complete the job. My guess is somtime in May this will be finished, maybe sooner.
