I had an 87 lt250 motor done by trinity about 7 years ago when i got it back i bolted it in and rode it for about 1 hr the motor locked up and i was without a bike. I called trinity and sent the motor back the weld on the crank that theyu put on broke off and seized my motor. So then i was out another 3 months with no bike.
PTR is paul turner racing
why would you put that kind of money into a blaster i always wonder why people have blaster worth $5000 just sell it and but a Honda 250r

forget the 265 kit, its only good for drag racing, get the ct240 kit. Its about $880 but it includes, FMF reeds, Bigger Crab, Resleeve the cylinder and bore it to 240, Port it, and Ct pipe and silencer. This is an exlecent price for all that u get and this kit will more than double your hp.

I did some reserch into geting the 265 kit for my wifes blaster but went with the 240 instead.
unless your doing alot of drag racing the 265 isint worth it, the piston and ring speed is to high and you will be replacing them alot.
the 240 kit is great if you do it right, get the kit so you have the right carb to exhaust. one thing they do not add to the kit is the pro design intake for the 34 pj, get it. They advise just shoving the 34 into a stock boot the was made for a 26mm and that is not good to restrict the intake like that after upping the cc's.
make sure you have the cylinder cleaned up and polished to take full advantage of the extra power.
my wife goes out riding hers here in the desert and upsets these kids on their 300 ex's and blasters when they think they can beat her then she stomps them!
this thing won't keep up with my 250r like the book says but it is alot faster than a stock blaster. one other thing if you do the 240 better get some good tires!
CT can do the kit for you or talk to this guy at
http://www.macdizzy.com/2stroke.htm
this guy can build you a kick#$@ blaster, check out his site.
good luck in your choice, if you would like more info on the 240 kit let me know.
TheDoc250, 86 TRX250R, fmf pipe & silencer ,rad valve, cool head, works tripple front,TCS rear, nerfs, custom skids, holeshots on stock rims, kn filter w/outer & support rings, clutch mods.
