Default AC Racing's prices?

Whats up with that? for raptor pro pegs directly from ac racing its $289.95 and most other places it's around $150-$180. What does Ball Burnished mean? as it is used in the description of the nerf bar.

Ball Burnished?? I heard of the term, but not too clear on that one. The reason it cost more from AC directly is because when aftermarket business owners place their orders, the more they buy, the more manufacturers, like AC, can cut them a better price on product. So aftermarket 'vendors' are able to sell the products cheaper and both manufacturer and retailer make profits. Example....if you buy a can of soda, its more expensive, per can, than if you buy a 6 or 12 pack. Both, the soda supplier and the store you buy it from, make more of a profit from larger sales. Hope this makes sense...

I believe that is a finishing technique to smooth out the metal.
