I bought the pro design pro-flow (k&n) for a 2001 warrior from rocky mountain atv. I installed the adapter correctly but I cannot bolt on the airbox lid because of the filter. I called rocky mountain atv & they said that I had the correct air filter. The filter they sent is 4 1/2" in diameter & 5" long. Any warrior guys with the pro design pro flow kit let me know the size of your air filter & any jetting advice would be cool also. Thanx!!!

My lid wont go on either because of the angle the filter is at. Try rotating it around till you get it where the lid will fit. My filter is a: RU-1460, whatever that means. No size given on box.

My filter # is RB-0910. I have tried everything to get the lid to fit.

I've got the Uni filter with my pro design , fits fine without the prefilter on, but once you install it you really have to cram on the lid. I imagine that your k&n is the same way.

Not much point in a K&N if you leave the lid on anywho.

I had the same problem with my k&n set up, once on a long hard ride when i got back i decided to check and clean the filter. To my surprise when i took the lid off the filter fell off. Going back to stock setup with a better filter.

Since I'm using a K&N should I leave the lid on or off. Any input on jetting would help. I have an aftermarket pipe and ride at 1000-1100 ft. Thanx for everyones 2 pennies.

leave the lid off and put an outerwear on it! What pipe do you have? Better yet come over and we'll get it jetted correct!
