When my rod went out, I took the quad apart and found the fiber disk that the clutch boss ring sets inside was broken in several pieces. Today, I installed new fibers in my other Raptor and found the same fiber disk broken in several pieces. It seems to me the clutch boss ring is causeing problems in that spot. Has anyone just bought the normal fibers and replaced the 2 less wide fibers with normal fibers and not used the clucth boss ring?
