Yamaha Flyer,
If you order from Montana Jacks, Call their phone line and tell them that gowarn.com has them for $238.95 and they'll beat their price.

Since the 424 will take lots of stress off the front drive train when in 2WD, has anyone ever considered shaving a little metal off the steering stops to get tighter steering. I think this would be a nice/free mod but have been reluctant to do it because of the stress of full time 4WD. Maybe some of you 00-03 guys can experiment with this while us poor 95-99 guys chew our fingernails waiting for WARN. Im quessing WHEN I get the 424, I will only use 4x4
10% of the time.

I agree with you, weasel. If I could improve one aspect of my Wolv, it would be tighter steering circle. Not being an engineer, I can't comment on what effect a tighter turning radius would have on the other front end parts.

Like you guys, I am anxious for the 424. I have badgered most of the people at Warn and some retailers, best answer I can get is "Mid-May or thereabouts".

weasle,
I don't know why the steering stops are set so wide on the Wolverine, either, the cv joints should be able to take quite a bit of articulation,as compared to a regular knuckle u joint. My buddies Polaris turns way tighter than my Wolverine, and that's no matter what he has it set at, 2wd or AWD. I also have been peeking at the stops, and will probably see if a little carving will help without stressing the front axles. shouldn't take much to make a big difference, a few extra degrees would make a world of difference. just one more thing :

I WANT MY OWN DARN 424 !!!!!!! COME ON WARN !!!!!!!
