Raptor +2" A-Arms. Why 1" Forward ?????
#1
I am going to get some +2" a- arms. Why does everyone make them 1" forward? I ride my Raptor on some very tight trails and am afraid the 1" forward might make the front end tend to push on the very slow tight stuff. I know some companies make +2, 0 forward but I am having a hard time finding them with ball joints rather than heim joints. I want sealed ball joints because I ride in the mud and dirt and I hear this will wear the heim style joints. So can anyone direct me to a good deal on some +2, 0 forward chromoly a-arms with ball joints? Or should I not worry about the 1" forward and order the Ricky Stator a-arms. Please help! Try Rocky Mountain atv they carry a set of +2 a arms 0 forward they are made by Armadillo and I know they have ball joints. Not sure how good the a arms are but I have a bumper and skid plate from Armadillo and they are nice pieces.

Thanks for the tips guys. The Armadillo +2, 0 forward a-arms from Rocky Mountain look like a good deal for $469. I called and no spindle reaming is required. I am going to order them. I will let you all know how they are.

This may be a stupid question, but is a +2" a-arm actually 2" wider each a-arm making it overall 4" wider or is a +2" a-arm actually just 1" wider for a total of 2"?

I also have a question, if you go with the Armadillo +2 A Arms can you still use your stock front shocks. I was considering the sand-sport front wheel spacers for my raptor but the price on those armadillo a arms is pretty decent....just wonder how they will hold up.....I guess they would be at least as strong as the stock a arms (that is if you can call the stock a arms strong).
