Doing some XC and MX tracks on 20.11.10 (sometimes 18) Holeshot rear 21.8.9 front Fast Trekkers. I like this combo because BOTH front and rear are flat profiles for turning. (wont roll the sidewall)

I am riding a Banshee and a Blaster. I use red label Douglas rims on the Banshee, red label on rear of Blaster with blue on front. Light duty rims are fine in the dunes if you don't jump. I ride a lot of MX, anything less than heavy duty rims get trashed.
I run 22x7x10 Bandit XC on the front, 20x10x8, 20x10x9 Bandit XC, Shredders, 18x11x8 Turf Tamers.
21x7x10 on the Blaster. I think the 22x7x10 on the front makes it easier to get through the bumps. They also give the machine a very level stance with the 20in. rear. I really like the extra ground clearance the bigger tires give, but the gearing change with the 18in. rear can be a lot of fun, change of pace. I like the 18in. rear on the Blaster for weight savings. You do loose that 1in. of ground clearance.
I think the Bandit tires from Pure Sports are the best. They wear great with no flats, and handle great in all conditions. I think they have the deapest tread of any tire I've used. My next order is 20x10x9 Bandit XC for the Banshee, 18x11x8 for the Blaster.
I really like the new rims that are comming out with the rolled beads.

I am running a Banshee with following mods.
Trinity CV manifold single 34PJ carb
Cool Head with 20 domes
FMF Fatty pipes
Works shocks on both Banshee and Blaster
K&N filters
28 PWK on the Blaster
Boyseen reeds on Banshee and RAD valve on Blaster
5.5 gallon IMS gas tank
4in.+ rear axle on Banshee
Ride at 5000 plus altitude
