get a 400ex! If I was still in High School I'd never bee able to keep up with repairs and mods financialy...I know which one is better stock...but it won't stay that way for to long.

First off...if you dont have to get a job, then dont. Your only 15. If you and your dad have a strong relationship then talk to him about it. If you dont then maybe getting a quad could help improve it.

Remember nothing is free in life, be a good son, get good grades and your parents should be willing to do something in return for you. Just dont go begging for a new car when you turn 16.

a 400ex would make a great first quad.

We bought my warrior when I was 17 I think. I learned very quickly, it takes about 300 dollars a year to keep one running, alot more than that if you have modded it or drive wild. 300 is an average though, sometimes you bust a hose, 80 bucks, sometimes you bend an axle 200. Sometimes you break a chain, 60 dollar chain plus engine damage. Mines prolly eaten a grand this year, or more. Some of that was mods though.

*im figuring you will ride every weekend, and ride hard*

F the rappy...god I wish I could get a decent price for it, It would be gone and replaced with a 400ex and 250r, unless your dune racing only the EX is what its all about

I dunno, my friends 440ex feels a lil small on me. Wheel base is too short too. Major wheelie problem with the 440 motor. My next toy will be banshee

get a used 400. it is bullet proof. build it up to a 440 later and you will learn about motors. sell it when you outgrow it. a good rider on a 400 can be faster than an average rider on a Raptor.
