Default what do you suppose is wrong

well I thought that my raptor was running wrong because of the floats but i dont think that the problem any more because i checked and they seem to be at the right level. So any ways there is black smoke or soot coming out of my exhaust pipe and when idleing it sounds like its going to die out and eventually does. But when riding it this isnt really noticable. I also noticed the plug was black and fouled so i put another one in and it fouled it again right away. So the only thing i can think of is my jetting is off, but it seems strange because my bike is all stock. So can any one figure this out for me.

Have you changed your fuel?
You could have bad fuel.
It is hard to read the plugs on a four-stroke.
I doubt the jets are wrong. Try running 93 octane pump gas.

When is the last time you adjusted the valves??? The intakes like to tighten up pretty fast, maybe you have an issue there?

Do you know what elevation your at? Could be the choke is not adjusted right. Take it to the dealer if your still under warranty.

black smoke, struggling to idle, fouling plugs, sounds like a choke sticking. I would take it to the dealer and have them fix it, it's surly to still be under warranty.

Maybe your choke plunger is stuck. If I remember correctly the choke cable goes in the side of the left carb. Follow your cable to the carb and unscrew the plastic "screw" that the cable runs through to the carb and pull the whole plunger assembly out. A little WD - 40 will free it up if its sticking. Be careful when tightening the plastic "screw" because they break easily.
