Default "boots" for heim joints?

I have the ASR tie rods with the heim joint ends. I swear I read a post on here a little while back where you can get a "boot" or cover for the heim joints to hold the grease in and keep the mud out.

I desperately need such a product! About 3 mud holes and 2 water crossings after the start of my ride, the steering gets really heavy as the dirt replaces the grease in my tie rod ends. Does anyone know where I can find something like this? Thanks!!

Default "boots" for heim joints?

Big Daddy,

I skipped the race this past weekend. All the weather forecasts said that we were supposed to get horrible thunderstorms. Then it ended up being a pretty nice weekend here in MI.

After Loretta Lynn's I realized just how out of shape and out of practice I am. So I rode about 10 hours this weekend. I tried to push it 100% until I got tired. Then I cruized at about 60% for a few minutes, then I rode hard again. I figured 10 hours of trail riding would be more productive for me than 2 hours of racing. I will be at Ohio in 3 weeks, though. I am feeling strong and confident now. This weekend was good for me.

Do you know anything about this next track? Did you race this past weekend? How did you do?

Try giving them a call at 1-800-530-9494
They are called Seals It washers.
My old catalog lists them for 5/16" to 3/4 rod ends.
$1.75-$2.10 each depending on size.
Of course the catalog I'm looking at is a 97 & I haven't gotten my new catalog yet so I'm sure the prices have increased.
