Would a high temp silicone work? I had a crack in my old 5 gallon toilet tank and I used some GE silicone and it has held.

No theres to much pressure in the system for silicone. Trying ti weld it would be your best bet but JB weld is ok but if a rock hits the JB weld it will break right off its real brittle.

There is a new oil tank coming to market shortly (within 30 days) that holds more oil then stock, offers better cooling, and has some other "interesting" features that I can't disclose right now. Also, it doesn't break. We'll be publishing a review on it in about a month.
