Where to find a bolt like this...?
Long story short ... I'm installing a winch on a 4 wheeler and need to find a bolt just like this one except it needs to be 1/4" longer.
Sorry the pics a little out of focus due to distance. It's a 5/16-18 3/4" bolt with a hex head that says E-G 10.9. I searched ebay using the best criteria I could and didn't see anything similar after searching through literally the first 1000 hits.
I believe the 10.9 expresses a high strength that I'm really not that concerned about. The replacement doesn't need to be as strong.
Anybody have a suggestion on where I can find something like this? If all else fails I can try to do the connection differently but for now I'm just looking for as close a replacement as possible.

Like JumboFrank said, lowes and home depot.
If you have an ace hardware around, I've found their selection to be a bit better. Just not a popular store as the others.
I got lucky, they opened a Nuts & Bolts hardware store not too far from the house. A little further than the first two stores, but the selection is the best around.

I don't know about easy, TLC.
Seems like sometimes I've gone to home depot and their idea of putting the parts in the right bin is more like, hey it's in a small plastic bag so it goes here. Couple that with the guy that just got a handful of different sizes, then decides he doesn't want them and just puts them back in the wrong spot.
And whatever happened to auto parts stores having a big selection? Last time I looked at autozone, I had more choices of air fresheners than bolts.

Thanks everybody. Turns out HD and Lowes didn't have it as well as another fastener shop. Finally found it at the local Fastenal and the guy there identified as SAE like I did despite the metric sounding 10.9 stamp on the head.
Reason it's designed like it is is because it's to secure the rope lead on the winch I'm putting in. Really tight clearances in there.
