Default A fun project

I was tired of screwing around with trailers in swamps and/or snow while hunting. I started thinking and came with this solution! An ATV tobogan made of a small heating fuel tank, re-enforced at both end with a piece of a water tank, skids made of T brs , square and round tubing for the framing and pull bar. Oh yes, valve spring also in the pull bar to take out the knocking on the pole and give me a pole that can turn 360 degrees to avoid snap off from the tow ball. Just needs some grinding and paint. I ain't no professional welder, burnt scars are the proof of that!!!

Here are some photos:

Sportman Polaris 800/2008 factory tires aggressively studed. Will pill it with no difficulty.

Probably will float until it sinks! Not sure but I would not canoe down the river sitting in it...
