2004 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 Problems

Plugged Carburetor. The Eiger carburetor is very simple. Remove it and do a complete tear down. Remove the bowl, float, slide, needle, jets, everything. Also remove the pilot screw cover at the bottom of he carb (use a 1/8 drill bit; drill to just pierce the plug (no farther), then pry out and discard the plug). Use carb cleaner and spray through each jet, port, passageway until the cleaner comes out clear and freely. The pilot screw should be turned clockwise until it just seats, then back it out 2.5 turns--Mr. Eiger will start easier and have better idle/smoother throttle response. Install a Dynojet kit for even better performance. Here is a photo-by-photo disassembly of the carb: Keihin 32CVK Disassembly
