Default yamaha banshee problems

If any one out there can help I need it. I have a 95 banshee and I can not get it to shift under high engine revs, but as soon as it comes out of the power band it shifts just fine. I have replaced the cam that the shifting mechanism rides on and that did not fix the problem. I have fixed everything I can think of and nothing seems to be working.

I have tried adjusting the clutch, I also repalced the clutch basket and new clutch, the only thing I have not tried is replacing the cable.
