Hey guys, I got an '03 piped n jetted Banshee and I've been tryin to trade it in for a four stroke for some time and I finally came across an '07 YFZ 450 SE at one of the dealerships around where I live. They gave me $2300 for my 'shee and the YFZ was for $5500...It sounds good and all but would this YFZ be a good trade? It has very little hours on it and has a Yoshi slip on...the kid who had it traded it in for an '08 so they ended back up with it again...I like it but just wonderin if I'll still have that "haullin a$$" power?

 

you will have the power but it wont feel the same. The way i like to think of the difference between a banshee and a yfz (or any other 4 stroke) is that on a 4 stroke, you have the option to go fast, or to go slow, on a banshee, you go fast weather you like it or not. to me, 2300 sounds a bit low for an 03, but i suppose it is a trade in, and 5500 sound good for the yfz. I guess it all comes down to weather you think the yfz is $3k better then ur banshee, many would say yes, but there are some....
the only way to know for sure if ull have that haulin a$$ power is to ride a yfz (or any 450 really). They are quite fun to ride..
