i replaced the engine in my breeze, i had to change the stator from the old engine to match my wiring (i had 2 breezes and wanted to make 1 good one)

anyway, before i removed the engine it was running fine(they both were)

now i have nothing, it starts and runs as normal if i take a wire from the starter and touch the positive battery terminal.

tried:

another starter
solenoid
tried on/off switch.. sparks when on, doesent when off so thats fine

yesterday when i first tried i was getting the engine to turn once,maybe half turn but now nothing?

any help would be appreciated thanks

you obviously got the battery charged, so ok, now, measure the voltage of the battery when you hit the starter button. what's that voltage? measure it at the solenoid. have you tried leaving the key on and jumping the solenoid with a screwdriver and see what that does? maybe a bad starter button? hmmm. let us knowl

 

I will measure the voltage of them today at some point, yes tried jumping the terminals, fires right up.
