Default new to the race bike scene?

Hey guys i am new to the race bike scene and yesterdayi bought a 2006 yfz 450 and today found out that the rear bearings are wore pretty bad but I'm Perry surei pay a decent price for it

You need to have more posts to the forum. You could always put some pics in your garage.

So you can grab both your rear wheels and wiggle it all?
I'm presuming your talking about the axel carrier bearings.

Yes the carrier bearings I'm sorry and there is about an 1/16 inch of play just enough to worry me or will they be fine for now

1/16 at the wheel isn't much but the bearings should be replaced asap.

Trust me they are going to be lol but im not sure what bearings to go with what do you recommend

And im pretty sure i could change them but what would a regular shop charge.for the type of job and i was also told that they might have to be pressed in?

They don't need to be pressed in. You do need to drive them in evenly though. With the right tools and some patience this isn't as big of a job as it seems. Labor at a shop will kill you though as you do need to remove the rear axle and all that.

Pivot Works or All *****. OEM bearings are ridiculous in price. While you are at it, buy the service manual for it. Well worth the $$$.

IMO, I'd stick with Yamaha bearings.
I do know that All ***** are china bearings.

Heat works well to remove/install.
