I'm interested in the 200-GPY to ride with my son. Now that some of you have had it for a while, can you comment on it?
I have seen some Chinese copy bikes that ran but were super poor quality and did not last long. Is this more of the same,
or is this a rugged bike?

 

Does anyone know where I can get a speedo cable for the gy 200? I contacted my distributor and was told that they are having a hard time getting parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

i have had some miner problems with my gy, but nuthin real bad. my gy wasnt put together very well, mabey you will have more luck

 

my gy has been rateling real rough between 5 and 6 rpms. i adjusted the chain but its not working. ne advise?

 

I have had my 200 scince Christmas and have @ 500 miles on it so far, so good. The main thing with these is to check bolts and get some lock-tite. I did replace the rear sprocket and now seem very happy with it for the amount of riding I do with it, I got it to follow my 11 yr old around on his 125, so for this its perfect, and I have fun taking it for short rides around town. I did break off the tail light assembly by hitting a ditch too hard, shocks are not the best, but for a hour or 2 of cruising @ 35-45 mph on the trails here the price is right.

I've been trying to get my GY street legal and have succeeded in getting a plate and registration. I now need to get insurance and several companies have told me that i couldn't get it insured because it wasn't on their list. I was wondering what companies will insure these bikes, so if anyone could tell me what company they have i would appreciate it.

 

I got mine insured thru Farm Burea, they had never heard of it either, so I had to take in some pics, which they sent to their home office. I took about 5 days, but I got it insured

 

Does anyone else have insurance on their 200GY, and if so what insurance company has these motorcycles on their books so they can give me a quote.... Thank you..
