HOW TO carb adjustment on any Chinese atv. Kazuma, Yamoto, Redcat, Baja, Sunl, etc...

Yes it does have a spring. I know on smaller motors there is usually an air mixture screw and a fuel mixture screw but I have no idea if its the same on a four stroke.
Ok so I put the carb back on and hooked up all the lines. Adjusted the mix screws and now when I turn on the gas, it just pours out the bottom hose thats hooked to the float bowl.... Any suggestions?

Float is more than likely not adjusted...they usually appear flat when the carb is upside down...you can bend the little tab over the needle to change the height..

Have you tried adjusting the fuel screw? On my Yamoto 150's carb with the electric choke it was located near the front of the cab on the left side..start at 1.5 turns out and go out from there...maybe to 2.5 turns...See if this helps any..if not you may need to find larger jets..

Hi all,
I recently received a 2007 200cc chinese quad, (no i didnt buy it, it was free
) it is a manual shift, manual choke 4spd quad.
I have taken the carb apart, cleaned it with gumout, I have adjusted the needle to the highest and lowest position of the e-clip, I also put a brand new spark plug in.
I turn the fuel jet on the bottom all the way in, then out two turns, it will idle like a champion, I can let the clutch out in 1st gear, and it will bring the front tires off the ground, then bog down and die 10 feet later.
When idling in neutral, it idles well, but if you try to give it throttle, it is almost as if it quits pushing air out the exhaust, and almost "sucks" air in the exhaust, and dies... Same thing if you just pull out in first, it will go maybe 15 feet, then bog and die as soon as you try to give it gas.
Can anyone please help me? I have tried everything I know and can't get this thing to run.
I know they are not as nice as Yam/Honda/Kawasaki/etc, but for a playtoy that is what it is, it sure would be fun if I could at LEAST make it to the mailbox and back! lol
Anyone got any ideas? I have the slide in correctly, the float is level when the carb is upside down.....
I'm THINKING it is lean? but I could be wrong, kinda new to this, mechanically inclined but not experienced at troubleshooting this kinda thing.
Thanks in advance for any/all help.

Id guess its jetted lean...all my Jetmoto's had a sort of cough and die syndrome stock...took forever to warm uo.(15 minutes or so) Most of the 200cc quads use a carb that uses Keihin jets....or you could drill your's out if you have a number drill set..

Thank you for the swift reply!
I was thinking about the very possibility of what you said, however, i don't think i have the proper tools to drill the jets out.
Also, the exhaust, makes a hissing sound, ive now moved the needle to the richest setting, still, whitish plug.
I am starting to wonder if it is electronic.
Does this thing have a rev limiter? Is there any way I could check it/bypass it?
It is a 200cc, looks like a blaster or such.
I almost think the carb is in good shape, but there could be an electronic issue?
Please someone help me before I spend my whole week on it, lol.

I also wanted to add, THIS: ATV 200-MU
is the exact atv I have.
I don't really know what it "is" (name, model, etc) other than a 200cc.
Day 3 of working on this thing...coming up, lol.

Like my 2 stroke trimmer and chain saw...makes sense...never seen it on a quad but then again this is from China.. Id start with each one at 1.5 turns out...

So far this bike has done nothing but aggravate the crap out of me, lol, and bajamotorsportsonline
sucks donkeys as far as im concerned. Not only do they have absolutely no information whatsoever on this bike but then I email them for info and get no answer. No let me refrase that, i got 1 email back asking me for my vin# and so I sent it to them. that was over 2 weeks ago now and here I sit! I called their online parts store and they cannot order a part without the parts number and God only knows what that is cuz I have searched endlessly and cannot find parts numbers for any part on this bike.! sooo ARGGGGGGGG!! All this for a simple nut. 1 front sprocket nut for a chain driven bike and i might as well be asking for ocean view property in Arizona!
