Welcome to the forum efajeep!

Your looking for a F and a T with lines next to them on the flywheel. Under the cover on the left side of the engine(chain side). Those want to align with either a line or possibly 2 dost on the cam sprocket... A 4 stroke engine has 2 TDC's.. you want the one after the exhaust valves close. Remove the spark plug, Rotate the engine by hand turning the flywheel counter clock wise...when you see the exhaust valves close look for the T on the flywheel...its line will line up with a pointer in the case... This is the TDC to check valve clearance..

I have tried checking the valves it still wont start. It has good air and fuel flow, has good spark, got compression. what do I do?

Did you scrap the chinese spark plug. That worked for me. The chinese plugs look the part, but the NGK is the part.
