Default Sunl 90 Flooded

godilove2ride;
Well, spent more time with the unit today. played around witht he float valve. Bent the tab a little to get it to seat earlier and low and be hold, it Started up! I adjusted the idle and it ran great! My son drove it for about 1/2 hour or so, then I got on with him and we ran for another 1/2 hour hor so. Ran Great! I let it sit for about an hour then went out to start it and it fired right up! then I let it site for about 1 1/2-2 more hourse and it started up again!!
The real test will be when I go out tomorrow and se eif it will start.
Thanks alot for your help and advise and patience! Hopefully this will be the last I have to ask for help for a while.
One other question, for anyone, I saw a thread on here talking about wheel spacers for this unit. Where can I get them and how much do they run? Raceway? Online?
Thanks again for everyones help-especialy godilive2ride.

Tom

Your welcome Tom, glad I could help. As far as your wheel spacers, call Raceway, I believe the Meerkat wheel spacers he sells will fit your Sunl as well. They also make a huge difference in stability. Good Luck!

The spacers at Raceway are $90 a set of 2 but they are solid aluminum instead of the wheel stud extensions they sell on Ebay. I would rather ride on the aluminum.

OK, here we go again! Not as bad as the Sundays past, but it has not started today. There is life though, it fires but never really catchjes enough to start and keep running. Also, occasionaly I am getting HUGE backfires! Sounds like a gunshot along with flame out the back of the muffler. I am back to assuming that it is flooding while it sits. If I choke it, thats when I get the backfire.
Any other suggestions? Still frustrated, but at least I see life in the unit this time.

Is your plug wet after cranking? Maybe need to bend that tab ever so slightly again.
