Any head removal help needed
#2
Sorry for forgetting about this lickthenewt....had it about 1/2 typed out yesterday and my computer reset itself...
First thing you gotta do is establish TDC (top dead center) This is done by removing the flywheel cover and turning the flywheel until the pointer on the case lines up with the T on the flywheel... Its easier to turn if you remove the spark plug..It helps to find the TDC after the exhaust valves close...(A 4 stroke has 2 TDC's and its easy to confuse them) To see the exhaust valve close you need to remove the valve cover from the top of the head...4 nuts. This will expose the rocker arms/valves...There is a cover on the left side of the head that needs to be removed to expose the cam sprocket....
Once you have TDC established you can loosen the bolts on the cam and remove the cam sprocket..I use a piece of wire to keep the chain from falling into the engine. It might be a good idea to take a pic of the marks on the cam sprocket and the flywheel before taking it apart...If your not familiar with it, the pics will help later....There is one little bolt on the side of the head that must be taken out and then the head should pull off...

That is very helpful. With the other resources I have, I should be able to get the job done. I took the ATV to an expert three miles away, and the next day he went out of business. He transported my ATV over a half hour away, and tried to make me pay to deliver it to my house. I eventually had to find a truck and pick it up myself. He would have fixed it, but he wanted $60 up front. After taking in business without telling me he was closing, and then moving my ATV, I wasn't about to give him money before the job was done. He didn't see an ethical issue here. So I basically lost confidence in him.

Guy sounds like a crook..more than likely why he is going out of business...One thing that would help you a bit is a Honda small 4 stroke manual...something that covers 50/70/110cc models will help you a lot...not all the pieces are the same but its real close..
