Default jetmoto 90cc loncin

whats up everybody, I just bought this last weekend and have worked on it for the past few days, and am stumped, I have got good compression, fire, fuel, I even sprayed a shot of ether in it about 5 minutes ago but this thing will do nothing, turns over great, and everything else seems to work as it should, the guy I bought it from was fustrated with it, he did tell me when he could get it to run it only ran for 10 minutes then died and wouldnt start again till completely cooled..this thing looks brand new I think its 07 model, thought I would surprise my 6 year old when he comes over the weekend, but I don't want him to see it and then i cant get it running. Its got to be something simple, the spark plug recommended is d8tc but the one in it is a ngk cr6hsa, it also says on the motor to run 15w40 oil and 92 octane gas, (whats up with that?) sorry if all this has been answered before...any help or suggestions would be great..

Have you cleaned the carb? I use 10wt-40 Valvoline in my 90cc LonCin engine..run mid grade gas in it..also use a NGK C7HSA spark plug...

thanks for the info mywifesquad, I will try that plug, but i have tore the carb apart it looks brand new I still cleaned everything all the jets, a guy today argued with me that one of the safety switches is not working, but correct me if im wrong, if the safety switch (any of them) is not working I should not be getting any spark at the plug, right. anyway I will try that plug tomorrow or friday and post my results, also would you happen to know the spec on the valve adjustment, for future reference in case i do get it running.lol.. it doesnt state it anywhere on the bike that i can see....thanks....

Safety switches keep the starter from turning. Since your starter turns that is not an issue.

Kill switches turns off spark generation at the CDI. Since you have spark then that is not an issue either.

thanks for all the info, well I got it to run finally. only to realize it smokes pretty bad, tore it down and the rings were shot, so im guessing the hard to start was a compression problem, anyway the good news is these parts are extremely cheap, I got the whole rebuild kit with gaskets, a new piston with wrist pin and all for 40 bucks, I did not realize these parts are that cheap, I paid a little extra for the shipping so the parts should be here in a few days...once again thanks..
