What it means in english...
Is the Chinese make most every part in your car, truck, van or other. Most every product in your house, at work.... What I'm suggesting is soon you will be using their product for recreation as well.
As for the ford you drive. Well if it's newer than 2004 it's got weak Chinese metal parts. If it's newer than 2006. Most of it's castings are weak what was it grade 2 steel? If it's newer than that. It's mostly waiting for the scrap heap. Darn thing should say Made in China on the label.

I know all that and while they may make all the parts that Honda puts into a great quad someday...I dont see a Chinese assy plant caring enough to bother, when they can make quick profits on kids quads and entry level adult quads.
Im going to keep my 92 F350 even longer now..
Feeling pretty good about my 00 STS now too..

The TaoTao 110cc I bought for my 10 year old daughter has been holding up pretty good. You are right though, need to check all the nuts and bolts for sure. Other than that its been fine.
Might be getting a SUNL 250cc (used) this weekend for myself to try out.

I have had a Baja 250(loncin) and a Baja 110 .The 250 oil sending unit and almost every nut and bolt came loose.Went into the surf not ocean ,surf and it took about 3 hours of drying and so on till it ran.I sold it right after that got most of my money back. The 110 every bolt ,nut, screw and the carburetor fell apart ,exhaust fell apart.Any way I can go on. We purchased because of the price.WE now have used jap and never a problem.

The pics say it all. This is the essence of getting a dad and kid on a quad and riding around for fun. Like you say in this quote all is good.
I did not view the posts as so much negative but more trying to be clear about expectations with these things and as long as you go in eyes wide open, most folks have a great experience with them.

I know that you are looking for happy costumers but im just saying that in my opinion you shouldn't buy a chinese atv. Why? read the following below.
Never buy a Roketa ATV. I have a Roketa ATV-87. It is the biggest piece of **** ever. I bought it a couple years ago and the problems with it started even before i got it. First it took for ever to deliver, about 3 months. Than when i got it i had to put it together myself and than i figured out that some of the bolts that came with it had a different thread than the nuts. so i had to go and buy some other bolts. When i finally got it to ride, after 3 rides there was already a big crack in the rear axle. So i took pictures of it and took it apart to repair it. So than I mailed the pictures with information to roketa for a new axle. First i thought that I wouldn't have to pay for it but there costumer support sucks and i didn't get my part for free although i have a 6 months warranty. So i told them okay whatever, i will just pay for it. But than the next problem came. They didn't have the right parts so they said that they would order it and sent it to me. I waited 2 months and than i mailed them again. They said that they still didn't have it so i waited 1 more month and mailed them again. I didn't get a mail back within 2 weeks so i mailed them again. and i stil didn't get mail back so i guess they are not going to help me and now im stuck with a broken Roketa ATV-87 and wasted 2500 dollar. thats why you should never buy a Roketa ATV. So now i bought some other atv's and they run just fine and don't have any problems with them. My Suzuki king quad 750 axi is perfect and My sons Yamaha wolverine 350 is a nice atv for him. Those atvs were way more expensive but that is worth it because they are way better and they will run for years and not only for 3 rides.

Thanks for sharing your story as it shows how things can get really bad when walking into a Chinese ATV purchase without doing lots of homework.
First, waiting for three months is a real dealer problem. If the guy was local you could go down there and demand your money back. If you purchased online, how much research did you do about this specific dealer's practices. I suspect you were not the first to get jerked around.
Next, two more months getting a replacement part that you paid for that should have been covered under warranty directly through the US distributor. What can you say, how much checking did you do checking how reliable Roketa is about taking care of warranty issues? I believe they are a California company and there are many avenues to get such issues resolved.
Then you wait for two plus one more month still waiting for the warranty part you paid for and did not receive? Did you purchases any of this with a credit card? You should have put a claim in months before starting with the ATV purchase itself.
Finally, if all this is true and after paying for the ATV and extra parts and waiting six month to get it on the dirt with only three hours. I respectfully suggest you read a couple consumer protection guides so you never get ripped off like this again. Just using a credit card and carefully documenting purchase issues on a transaction claim will immediately get that money placed into a pending status for which you are not responsible for any of that money. You of course still own what may have been already on the account but not the amount in dispute.
Thanks again for sharing your story as it is good for people to read an example of a China ATV buy go very bad.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, it was a lot of trouble for a year but now I have 2 really nice atv's that run good and I can bring them to any dealer for repairs. I bought a suzuki king quad 750 and a yamaha wolverine 350 and i picked them up at a dealer close to my home. So i can talk to them face to face so they can't make up stuff and have to talk back. So i learned my lesson (never buy a atv online).

Here's the major problem I found with my chinese 110cc atv I bought for my 7yo.
The atv is too small, narrow & light to house a 110cc motor. I have the throttle locked at only 15% max, and this thing will roll over in a second
So, I bought 2" spacers and longer bolts at the hardware store and pushed the tires out a total of 4" (2" per side)- doing that and running only 3lbs psi in the tires made the unstable ride a little more stable- but still rolls over easy.
My son has the body leaning down pretty good which helps a lot, but these 110cc chinese atv's are real unstable. I 've also replaced the starter twice. For some dumb reason they didn't put pull starts on them, only electric. The starters are too small for the motor and burn up easily (in my case anyway). I've also had to retighten every nut & bolt on the thing many times over- The thing vibrates like a blender!
I'd look for a polaris 90- bigger, heavier and more stable.

my 9 year old son has a 90 wildfire, it was a constant repair. A Kazuma 110 was "given" me by a heavy truck repair shop owner. He was tired of fixing it and went a bought his son a suzuki, 90. i got on the Suzuki one day and could not believe how much quicker it was. The kazuma starts immediately in 10 degree weather. There are little things that need attention on it. The tie rod ends seem to be week, they have broken 3 times. Last fall I bought him a new Yamaha 90 raptor. you can look at it and see how much better and stronger it is built. My son bought a wildfire for his young daughter, he sat on it in the yard and the front A arm broke dumping him on the ground. I repaired it, the A arm is a bad design and not very strong. I repaired it by welding it and making it stronger with gussets. I either need to fix the other one or it will be back broken.
