Red face high idle?

hey all.
got a quick question for everyone, i have a 200cc Daymak and its been relativity decent for the most part.

now my question is:
when i start up my engine, it has a really high idle, really loud.
i went to adjust my idle screw which, doesnt seem to be doing much.

Next problem:

i just did an oil change, and now all of a sudden i have oil coming out of my carb and down my overflow tube, i know this isnt good at all. any reason for this? and how do i fix this! b\c it might be related to my high idle as it looks like the oil is going into my Carb.

thanks in advance!

Usually a high idle is caused by a vacuum leak some where between the carb and the engine.. I find them by carefully spraying carb cleaner where the carb meets the maniflod and the mainfold meets the engine.. Any change, either it dies or runs better is a sign of a vacuum leak...

Any chance you overfilled the crankcase with oil?

If there isnt another screw coming out the side or bottom of the carb...That could be it.. does it move/adjust? how many turns out was it set at?

Regarding high idle. Make sure your throttle cable is adjusted properly. So that when its at idle the slide plunger in the carb is acutally resting on the idle screw. Not lifted off a bit which of course can cause the idle to be high.

Another cause of high idle would be partly clogged pilot jet causing a lean burn. When was the last time the carb was cleaned?
