Default Shineray 200cc ATV - Rear Drive Shaft - Broke!!! - Newbie Help...

Bought a used 2006 Shineray 200cc to use lightly and follow my daughter through the trails.

But got a little out of hand and I went crazy on the hills and ditches today. This is the out come. Does not move anymore.

Looks like the whole rear drive shaft blew up. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? If anyone here have a spare I'll be interested on buying it ASAP.

Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Several of the chinese parts websites (see above) list that rear end assmbley. I think they're around $200 though!

$200 ouch!!! I did find it but they are selling the complete rear axle assembly with the driveshaft. It's probably the best and simplest way to replace it. But hopefully they have just the driveshaft for a lower price. We'll soon find out. Just sent them an email (www.china-parts.co.uk)

From what I can see your diff. housing is toast not the actual drive shaft itself though it maybe too. Once you pull it apart you'll know for sure. The sell the whole housing assembly like Here at Jetmoto SHAFT DRIVE ATV REAR END ASSEMBLY 110CC, 125CC, 150CC, 200CC - J2548123, its listed there for 299.00 but like I said I'm sure you can find it cheap or used as there are lots around. Try these guys RedCat ATV Parts - RedCatOnline.com as they have lots of stuff.
That website you listed looks like it's in the UK by the addy.

Here's what it looks like taken apart. It's toast alright lol.

Thank you for the links I will start calling them, and hope someone has a used one laying around for sale.

Take care folks.

hi !

this info could be handy, but double check it !

Shineray Xy200 uses same motor and Driveshaft assy parts as Bashan BS200S-3 (from approx year 2006 something, the early models way before S-7)

i havent double checked yet as mentioned but both Brands use same 163FML engine (163FML-2)

i have an impression that Shineray is way much worse material Guality than Bashan, Hence its more resonable to buy Bashan branded OEM parts to both.

my ATV is Bashan BS200S-3 . a road legal equipped model, with Stiff suspension etc.

ZongShen also Copyes makes same engine and then engine name is ZS163FML

id like to ask in this same Occasion from "mge1" ,that :

-what do you recon, how much is there travel on the Rear Drive shaft in Vertical ?
in other words, how much does the drive shaft assy design allow Travel on rear suspension compered to driveshaft Joint Flexibility ?

i ask this as im thinking of swopping rear Shock into summink more Softer, but need to Compere Travel specs 1st....

bye
m

ps. here is an Complite Parts List PDF for BS200S-3. also includes brilliant Digicam photos of parts ! as its a Shop in UK

Maple Sports - Parts & Components: Bashan BS200S-3

Any1 know where to Google find W.S.M PDF for 163FML or/and Bashan/Shineray etc ,like as Lifan Book for just the engine ?

as i only find these 4Sale books:

Lifan 156FMI,167FMM,163FML 200cc Workshop Manual - Download Manuals & Technical

edit:
been googling once again, now for past 4hours and still no engine W.S.M

have found various other but no 163FML or -2.

found GY-5 Owners manual that covers little bits from engine:
http://www.chinariders.net/content/t...ers_Manual.pdf
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0fP...it?hl=en&pli=1

now finally found LFGY-5 200cc parts List PDF
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0fP...Ylk/edit?pli=1
