little help

Did you ever adjust or check the valves? Have you ever adjusted the fuel screw?
A high idle would cause the jumping forward problem you have.... Unless your idle is normal and does it...Then id think clutch adjustment or maybe the clutch is frozen up.

i kind of know what your asking
yes you sometimes hold it back with the back brake, but only when in 1st gear and its heat up, the last time i thought i had it set perfect (wouldnt move as much when put into gear) once i put it into gear it would just die out,

Try adjusting the clutch... right side of the engine (when sitting on quad) small cover in the side of the case... usually held on by 2 screws... remove the cover.. underneath is a nut and a bolt with a screw driver slot cut in the end of it... with the engine off... loosen the nut a turn or 2.. tighten the screw/bolt with a screw driver until it stops.. turn it out 1/4 turn and tighten the nut..
