Need a little help here if possible. I was given a 50cc (I think it's actually 48cc) quad for my son and it was working well for a while but the starter packed it in and I can't find a replacement. It's an older model, I can't find a name, part # or any other identifiable markings on the starter or quad. The starter is bottom mounted in front of the engine. It has a nine spline shaft and there is no o-ring seal on it. Can anyone tell me where I can get one. I have been looking all over.

 

look on the frame on the lower left hand side. should see a VIN number, 17 digits. post a pic of the quad and engine, that'll also help us. here's Scootergptx's link for VINs.
