Default jetmoto 150cc.. running issues

I found a used hensim 150cc sport Ive been told there the same as the jetmoto 150cc sport quad. the seller states (Starts and runs, but needs work, stalls if throttle is pressed hard, I cleaned the carb and replace fuel filter but still has problems moving.) I came here to hopefully get some help before I buy the quad.

Welcome to the forum pvillefball421!

I think he missed something in the carb rebuild.. Unless it still has the stock spark plug.. NGK C7HSA is a good replacement

The other thing thats easy to plug is the tube the main jet is held in.. about a dozen or so small holes in the side of this tube.. but if they were plugged, it wouldnt keep the engine from running..

I use carb cleaner and compressed air... throttle body cleaner should work ok.. you also want to remove the fuel screw(on the bottom) and spray cleaner thru all the passages and little holes in the carb.. keep carb/throttle body cleaner away from anything made of rubber... if not it has a tendancy to grow to a useless size..

ok thanks for the quick response> depending on how easy this is i might try to add some sliders or rollers and maybe some other cheap upgrades i want to take it upstate. how reliable are these engines if i were to put upgrades into it. and is there a diy writeup about how to dissemble these atvs or at least the carb
