No, manual choke only that seems to work as designed. Part of my carb cleaning was to also clean the throttle plate and "neck" of the intake side of the carb.

Having said that, the rubber fittings that connect the airbox to the short tube air intake and the intake to the actual carb are cracking and I may not have a good seal. The quad will probably not see mud, so does anyone have a recommendation on an airbox replacement or open filter setup?

Thumbs up

Thanks to all, with a new solenoid and thorough cleaning of the start switch assembly, the quad fires and starts without being "hotwired". Runs, idles, accelerates and rides great.

Next up, painting and refinishing.

It was dusk before I got done, so I couldn't get great pics, but the difference is still pretty striking

i don't know what size metric bolts you need, maybe Blue03Cobra does, but if the bolt goes in to a welded nut on the frame, use a longer bolt with blue loctite. the longer bolt, if you're interested, could use another nut on the end so as to double nut the stud. just an idea. but don't use the red loctite, just the blue if they're vibrating out. if it doesn't have a welded nut to the frame, consider using teflon locknuts and lock washers. just an idea.....
