Default Parts interchange help needed

After looking for a while I believe I have the TAO tAO 110cc quad. It is tree camo (one piece plastic) has two headlights similiar to yamaha raptor and a front a rear rack. HAs other things like a 3 bolt starter, 3 bolt foot guards etc. I know someone selling a Roketa 110cc bike with no motor. Mine as been wrecked can I swap the motor to the Roketa? TIA

it should work. the only thing you may have to change is motor mounts. a little cutting, welding, grinding, and general parts movement shouldn't be too bad. a frame is a frame with these chinese engines. the only thing i can think of that would screw you is this: is your engine horizontal or does it rise at a 45° angle. that may get in the way under your fuel tank or the possible rise in the frame to house the fuel tank or may not clear around the steering rod from the handlebars. other than that, i would think it should swap over. just may need some altering. good luck! measure twice, cut once.

After thinking about it... I guess I could just sell the one for the price of a new motor $175-200 and then do just that. I guess I could even upgrade to a 125cc motor? As for the swap I was hoping it was direct since they have the different starters.

just look at the two frames closely to see what, if any, changes would have to be made. you may get lucky and nothing needs changed/modified.
