alternate current or direct current?

You say you have a red w black coming from the stator, but it isn't a part of the wiring harness. But when I look at your picture 2 of 15 in your garage you show a red w black that clearly plugs into another wire. Is that wire not part of the wiring harness? If it doesn't go into the wiring harness then where does it go? I'm confused
. What should happen is that wire should go into the harness and reappear at the CDI. If this is true then your CDI is AC powered. Please verify that I'm not out in left field. Your red w black wire at the stator does connect up to the same color wire and does go into the wiring harness, right?

Since you quad is AC powered you can safely run it without a battery. But aren't you having trouble shutting it off? In other words your kill switches aren't working. I would suggest that you need to fix this because you really do need the ability to shut the quad in a hurry if there is an emergency. SO are you still having problems shutting down the quad?

no actually the key is working now there is a plug that is under the seat not plugged into anything and there is another wiring harness with a ground wire that is looped to itself and it wasnt plugged in i dont k now if thats why it workes now but i plugged it in and now it works also usually when everythings working the right handle bar lever is needed to start the bike that works too so i dont know if the loop ground is the cause
