Jaster94 don't apologize, you've been a great help already. I found a stamp on the block XF253FMM which appears to be a honda nighthawk/rebel 250 clone. I think I'm on the right track now. Thanks again for all your help.

Default Update: Identified!!

Eureka!! Found a link to some pictures, and identified this ATV as a 2002 Kazuma Cougar 250. It differs from the other Kazuma 250 ATV's in that it is an air cooled 233CC parallel twin as opposed to a liquid cooled single cylinder. I hope someone can benefit from this info. Any Kazuma Cougar 250 owners out there??

You could always make your own pan if you can't find one to order. Just get some aluminum foil, duct tape, and some fiberglass stuff. It might be kinda fun?

As usual, first couple of VIN decoders I tried came up as invalid number, but third one came up with this Chongqing Shineray Motorcycle Co Ltd, model XY250STXE, made in 2007. I tell everyone on here that if they have enough electrical knowledge to fit a "universal" harness, they could have fixed the existing harness quicker and easier.
