Sounds like a remote receiver, for a kill switch or something, but start a new thread, posting stuff into this jumble of disconnected threads about different bikes, is pointless.
I have a Taotao 110 atv that is not getting a spark. It is turning over just not starting. I think it is the stator since I have had to replace it many times but I thought I should get a spare CDI also. My problem is there are 5 wires coming from the CDI (green, pink, gray, and red) but only 4 going to the wire harness. The black wire is disconnected. I think it is the timing trigger. If I buy a 5 pin replacement CDI, do I need to disconnect the 5th wire? 4 wires going to wire harness with black wire not connected Back of wire harness on CDI side of harness CDI side on right; green (ground) on bottom left
