Default Taotao 110cc Starter instalation

Ok so I had the brillant plan off pulling my starter of my kid's 2010 Taotao before looking up a forum or a diagram. I've replaced quite a few car/truck starters so whats the dif right? huh? starter chain? Is the outer housing where the chain is dry or wet? Gasket needed or some rtv gasket maker? Tricks, tips etc would be very appreciated

unbolted the engine cover (8mm screws opposite side of starter) then used clip ring pliers to remove the c clip from the sprocket. Unbolted the starter and take off the sprocket. Install was easy

it was rather easy. I just don't have alot of small engine experience so I just figured I'd ask first
