Default HELP! T mark not an actual TDC

Hello everyone, recently i have a stupid question. I have never repaired this type of engines before :
http://cdn.dealsdirect.net/m/product...duct1_2539.jpg
Its a 110cc engine (well known). Now i have been working a lot on the GY6 type engines, and on these engines, the T mark means the TDC, but on this engine, when the T mark is aligned (to the mark on the ignition cover, a hole) the piston is actually half the way to the top. Please can you explain it to my?
Also, the ignition groove on the flywheel passes the ignition sensor when the piston is on nearly BDC I cannot believe that it is ment to be this way. Please help!

I'm glad you solved the problem, but I'm curious:

The flywheel is supposed to be keyed to the crankshaft with a woodruff key. You cannot put the flywheel on wrong. Was the key woodruff key missing, or was it sheared off. And if it was sheared, what caused that, and did that do any other damage?

A week ago i was reassembling this engine, as it was leaking oil. After reassembly, i noticed that it was kind of shooting when i accelerated, but i rode it for a while and it stopped permanently. So i decided to reassemble it again. When dismantled, i noticed that on the TDC, the flywheel groove(for the sensor) is on the other side than the sensor itself, and this means that the spark is triggered when the piston is in BDC.
So this made my curiuos and i decided to take the flywheel of.
When i took it of, i noticed that the woodruff key was sheared and the groove on the flywheel was on the oposite side than the woodruff. Now what caused this to happen - i dont know, but i think that it happened becouse of the shooting thing after the bad assembly.
I installed a new woodruff and will test the engine today.
