Default Coolster 90cc No power to starter

Hi guys, I just got this Coolster and brought it back to life. However as crude as this may sound it has no power to the starter but when I hook up the battery charger to the starter it fires write up. I'm sure this is not a good thing to do but i got it to fire up. I checked all the connections, try ed to pull the brake lever in, step on the rear brake and nothing dead. I was thinking starter solenoid but after reading some post I'm not so sure. The only thing is a cant find the teether on the rear end off it. What am i missing??? It shuts off normal with the kill switch. Everything is normal but no power to the starter. Remote key switch works fine also. Looked inside the start button area and that looks OK.

Should have 2 wires at start button, what color are they? Do they have continuity with the button pushed?

so you've measured the voltage from the battery through the solenoid to the starter as is and then when trying to crank/start the engine? what does that say the voltage is? it sounds like you have an inline fuse which is good, but apparently the battery, as is, is too low on voltage/amps to excite the solenoid to crank it. slow charge the battery back to normal voltage and let's go from there. if the battery has a dry cell or won't take a recharge, replace the battery and that will be a good starting point.
batteries are only $40 at walmart if that is where you shop.

Replaced the solenoid and found a wire not connected. It works great, was it the wire or the solenoid I will never know. This burns me up. Thanks for the help guys. I need to pay more attention when I do these things.
