Default Help finding replacement axle.

Hello my name is landon I am trying to help my brother get his quad fixed.
It's a kang chao brand and the model is tank. And its a 250. The problem is
he snapped his rear axle and ordered a new one online but it was the wrong one
and we can't find the correct one anywhere. Wich brings me to my question of wether or not
we can buy a different axle and axle carrier from a different quad and install it.
I am thinking aslong as the carrier dimensions are the same and the sprocket
and break disc lign up this should work . Any tips ,info or advice is greatly appreciated .
I can get any measurements or info you guys need . Thanks in advanced for any help you can provide.

Best bet would be to locate a dealer and have them order the part. Even though its an off brand these guys can still get parts if the deal with manufacture direct. If its through a 3rd part then it's a bit harder. Good luck
