Roketa ATV 150
#1
The ATV got hot while riding the dry river bed. We were out maybe and hour and a half. The motor was so hot that the oil boiled out of the motor and blew the dipstick out of the motor and melted it. Any help would be great and or a direction to look at ?

If its a g6 type engine did it have all the plastics on it? One of them actually funnels air to aid in cooling. If water cooled did it have any in it? Or another possibility is that the carb was lean which can make an engine run hot.
No matter the actual cause it sounds like your engine is trashed.

Sorry ment gy6 and they look similar to this Google Image Result for http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kv3F0ZMQ2gk/TDbQZii_DpI/AAAAAAAAABw/2adBd9s6_8Y/s1600/DSC_0571.JPG
But if you get any engine got hot enogh to boil out you can bet the main berrings, rod berrings, cam berrings, wrist pins, and cylinder wall didn't like it very much. You are not so much looking to find the cause so you can fix this engine. Its more like you're doing an autopsy to find out why it happened so you don't kill your next engine too.
