Default Buyang Panther 70 ATV 2006 model

I need some expertise on a small ATV I was given. At some point the key ignition switch stopped working and someone cut the wires and put in a cheap one. What is happening now is that whatever that person has done is draining the battery and the key to that ignition is also lost. I would like to replace the wiring harness with an OEM harness as well as an OEM key switch. I've searched numerous sites but they all seem pretty generic and there are tons of different versions. I would appreciate anyone willing to clear up my ignorance regarding this.

If it makes any difference I am technically savvy and rebuild and repair small engines as a hobby so the install will be no problem. I just need guidance on where to find the products and model numbers. Thank you in advance.

contact the manufacturer via website if possible. if not, just remember that a lot of these chinese quads use/share the same parts. just like chevy to gmc to buick to pontiac back to gmc etc....you get the idea. ford to mercury and vice versa. a lot of parts are interchangeable. BUT, the main things to look for are the amount of wires on a specific part. 4 or 5 wires on CDI, 3 or 5 wires on stator, 2, 3, or 4 wires on ignition. that's what you look for. i've had parts that were for a hibird fit my linhai.
